Christine McNamara

With over 32 years of experience in the Health and Social Care Sector, Christine is well placed to offer the kind of service that she passionately believes vulnerable people need.

Over the years of work in this field, Christine was privileged to see the various disciplines of social work at first hand and was drawn to the care for the elderly specialisation. Inspired by the life stories of seemingly ordinary folk, Christine has been fascinated to learn about their life histories helping to shape her views that the elderly, in many ways, have much to offer younger generations and we can certainly learn from them, even those suffering from dementia. Although living in the present might be a challenge and they might need a little help, they are often blessed with clear recollections that they are eager to share.

As a result of these experiences Christine decided to set up Gracious Care.
