Michelle Harvey
Michelle Harvey works as a funeral and wedding celebrant. She cares passionately about creating beautiful ceremonies for people, whether it be the “happy couple” or a “meaningful send off” for a family member.​​

Michelle is also the Co-Founder of the Bereavement Café, founded in 2017, alongside Gary Valentine of Valentines Funeral Directors based on Orpington High Street.
About Michelle Harvey, Life Celebrant
Michelle works as an Independent Life Celebrant.
Her role is to guide families through their loved ones funeral service, alongside the Funeral Director, writing and orating the Funeral Service, or conversely working with a couple to ensure that their wedding day is as happy and joyful as can be.
Michelle provides professional and expert support for those who need it, working sensitively and compassionately with families, to help them at their time of need. Every service she creates, is tailored around them, and is always unique and bespoke.
Michelle is a local lady, and works hard within her community, as well as further afield.
When founding The Bereavement Cafe, both Michelle and Gary Valentine felt there was a need for aftercare for families that had lost loved ones. The Bereavement Café provides qualified counsellors for 1 to 1 chats, or you can join in the group chat, where plenty of “good listeners” are there for you – their mantra is “Tea, coffee, biscuits and support”, and all are welcome.​​
